People to People International (PTPI) was
founded in 1956 by U.S. President Dwight D. Eisenhower.
He believed if contact could be made directly among the
world's people, citizen diplomacy and global friendship
would endure. Granddaughter
Mary Jean Eisenhower,
President and Chief Executive Officer, has made PTPI her
life's work. The Delaware Chapter of People to People
International is a member organization that provides the resources and energy for promoting international programs
for the community.
