Families of the World: FranceOn April 27th Families of the World: FRANCE was attended by over 60 scouts and their leaders/parents. Members of the University of Delaware French Club taught the Scouts songs, words, and how to do a fashion walk like a model. Also French foods were introduced showing French cookbooks. Scouts were shown techniques for creating flowers using pastry bags. They tried sparkling grape juice, brie cheese, and creme puffs. |

On Tuesday evening November 29, People to People Delaware in conjunction with the Widener University School of Law's International Law Society sponsored a discussion of nuclear non-proliferation policy between Ambassador Plenipotentiary Thomas Graham, Jr. and Jonathan Granoff, adjunct Professor at Widener Law School and President of the Global Security Institute. |

On Thursday evening November 17, Wendy Rich-Orloff gave an illuminating presentation to an intimate audience of PTPDE members and the general public regarding her early childhood care and development work in Rwanda. The talk was followed by a discussion of the country's wildlife. |

Families of the World: Afghanistan
On Friday November 18, 2011.People to People Delaware provided a program for the Girls Scouts of the Chesapeake Bay that included the award-winning video about two families who live in Afghanistan. The girls learned to do Afghan dances and decorated themselves with henna designs. |
